PRIME (Promoting Resilience In Microenterprises) is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is handled, in accordance with the Philippines' Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).

We collect the following information when you register for and use the platform:

Account details — your name, username, email address (optional), and password. If you upload one, we also store your profile photo.
Business and location information — your business name, province, city or municipality, barangay, and the precise geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) of your enterprise.
Registration attributes — additional business details you provide during sign-up, such as enterprise type or sector.
Assessment responses — the answers, and any files or photos you attach, when you voluntarily complete resilience assessments, business continuity planning, or post-disaster damage surveys.
Usage data — basic technical information generated as you interact with the platform.

How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account and keep it secure.
To conduct research on disaster resilience for microenterprises in the Bicol Region, and to produce aggregated analytics and reports.
To send you relevant, location-based disaster and severe-weather alerts, and to help local government units reach enterprises affected by a disaster.
To improve the platform and the programs and services we offer.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with our research partners and with local government units (LGUs) participating in the PRIME program, strictly for the purposes described above. Where possible, data used for research and reporting is aggregated or anonymized. We may also disclose data when required by law.

Data Retention and Security

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes above, and we apply reasonable organizational, physical, and technical safeguards to protect it against unauthorized access, alteration, or loss.

Your Rights

Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to be informed about, access, correct, and object to the processing of your personal data, and to have it erased or blocked where the law allows. You may exercise these rights, or withdraw your consent, by contacting us.
